Where the Craft is Learned & the Scene is Built
The Lab is an all-levels, community-driven workshop dedicated to The Art of the Show. Using a hands-on, Foxfire-style model, we don’t just “teach” music—we build the production together. From soldering cables to mastering three-part harmonies, the Lab is your “Engine Room” for the stage.
1. THE SATURDAY LAB (The Workshop)
Every Saturday | 9 AM – 2 PM | Hosted at Blue Ridge Music Academy This is where we bridge the gap between the practice room and the professional stage.
- The Power of the Partner: We pair up beginners and more seasoned players to build duos, trios, and ensembles.
- Technical Mastery: Take turns as the “Tech Team”—learn to run the soundboard, lighting, and stage for your fellow performers.
- Setlist Strategy: We refine 2-3 song sets to ensure your transitions and stage presence are professional.
2. THE MONTHLY SHOWCASE (The Stage)
First Friday of Every Month | Open to the Public The Lab is the engine; the Showcase is the fuel. Lab members kick off the night by debuting the collaborations built during the Saturday sessions, followed by a Public Open Mic run by our own Lab Crew.
